Nose update! 👃💗 Healing is going really well—swelling’s come down a lot and it’s starting to look more like me again (just a lil’ elevated 😌). Still a bit to go, but overall I’m feeling better each day. That said, I’m still stepping into things cautiously—especially when it comes to fumes and aerosols. I’ve learned the hard way that I’m super sensitive right now, so I’m keeping some service restrictions in place for now. What do you think of how it’s looking so far? I am the worst updating social media I know….. 🗓️ 2 weeks post-op and my nose is still stiff, swollen, and feeling very unfamiliar. Getting used to a new nose is WILD. I keep catching my reflection like “wait… that’s me?” Haven’t even reset my Face ID yet… because same, phone. Post-Op Update: One Week Later It’s officially been 7 days since surgery, and today’s the big follow-up—cast off, silicone molds out, and packing removed. 🙌 Still swollen, still can’t breathe through my nose yet, and the pain above my teeth and roof of my mouth hasn’t let up. But today’s a turning point (hopefully). I’m so ready to feel even a tiny bit of relief. Post-Op Update: Monday Day 6 Six days post-op and tomorrow’s my first follow-up. 🙌 Still swollen, still can’t breathe through my nose, and still waking up with that awful, painfully dry mouth from mouth breathing all night. The pain now feels more concentrated above my teeth and in the roof of my mouth—right near the incision area. It’s uncomfortable and makes sleep even harder. Definitely counting down the hours to that appointment tomorrow (Tuesday).
